New article alert: Feedback control of excitability and high K+ induced epileptiform bursts in male rat hippocampal slices with a photocaged adenosine A1 receptor agonist

We are very proud to share the publication of the paper, "Feedback control of excitability and high K+ induced epileptiform bursts in male rat hippocampal slices with a photocaged adenosine A1 receptor agonist" in the British Journal of Pharmacology.
Our research at 4BRAIN lab introduces a closed-loop photopharmacological system for epilepsy. By sensing neuronal hyperexcitability, our system triggers illumination to release an inhibitory drug, preventing seizure activity while preserving normal brain function.
